Breast cancer survivors give hope
This page is to enable those of you who have survived breast cancer to tell your story. For the many, many ladies and and, not so many, gentlemen who have battled and beaten breast cancer it's an opportunity to start a new chapter, to draw a line under the disease and move on to the rest of your life. For those of you still fighting the battle, then we hope these stories will give you faith and optimism for your future.
If you have survived breast cancer then
please tell your story and give some hope to others still travelling the path towards recovery.

RE:Husbands of Breast Cancer Survivors
I am wondering how much is the pain carried by husbands of breast cancer patients. I’ve seen some men who cried more and are more scared than their sick wives.

Yeah, I’ve seen some who are like that. I cannot blame them, though, cos it’s really difficult to have someone you love who is so terribly sick. But my advice to the husbands is that they should prevent from exposing their weakness to their sick wives because this will also drain the patient. They need your strength and encouragements more than your tears.

I agree with Gina. Of all the people, husbands should be the pillar of strength of their wives who have breast cancer.

For my part, what I did was that I did not touch my hair during days of chemotherapy. I didn’t comb it nor washed it. And it was pretty effective for me.
